Iron, Steel and Aluminum Production Facilities

Aluminum production consists of two stages. In the first stage, alumina is produced from bauxite ore by the Bayer method. In the second stage, aluminum is produced from alumina by electrolysis. Alumina facilities are often installed near bauxite ores. The bauxite ore extracted from the mine is treated with lye to produce aluminum hydroxide. Insoluble residues (red mud) formed as a result of this process are separated and “alumina” (aluminum oxide) is obtained by calcination of aluminum hydroxide.

 

Product frameworks should also establish a management system rather than a single operator control system. This situation increase both the production and the quality. Not only PLC and control screen; this system is necessary to implement a fully integrated process control system and for eliminate unexpected or undesired manufacturing complexities caused by electrical faults or incorrect information

Iron and Steel Production

The production of iron and steel is a very complicated process. Solid raw material-based manufacturing requires the use of many sensors, instrumentation and control algorithms such as the transfer of raw materials on bands, weighing, mixing, furnace control process, rolling of the product.
